Seems Bjango, who made Consume for the Apple App store, has had a little hissy and promised not to write Android apps.

Anyone know a good Android equivalent for use with 2 degrees?

You open the app, it pulls your info from Your 2degrees or whoever your provider is and then displays all your info such as Mb used, SMS remaining, minutes left etc.

Hang on a minute - it's not like these guys are a big cross platform developer. bjango is a developer of products for the Apple market (their web site says "iPone, iPad and Mac apps"), so really it should be no surprise that they're not pumping out apps for the Android market as Apples OS's is what they're familiar with. If you're a small development shop you're not going to rush out and hire developers for a new platform that you have no experience with.

Their twittered comment suggests they haven't got experience or knowledge of Andriod and that they got a bit frightened by what they saw/experienced when they had a very short play with an Android device. Naive, yes. Retards, no.

Perhaps 2Degrees could commission some Android developers to work on a similar app for Android.

Now that would be cool
