Does vodafone offer an upgrade to Android 2.1/2.2 for these?  Ive got a friend with one still running 1.6.  Not a bad little phone.

Also whats the easiest way to export the contacts on it?  I havent had a big chance to play with it (or many android phones) but need to export the existing contacts to a comp, as whatever format - csv or something is absolutely fine.

Wifes one was upgraded about a month ago to 2.1. Needed to use the software (Companion?) that comes with with the phone, and plug it into your PC where thats installed for the update. Was a little tricky but got there in the end. I dont believe its a Vodafone related thing, its just location based for getting the update and NZ location is now able to upgrade. There is a guide somewhere around here about getting the PC software to recognise the fact that there is an available update.

We went like this. he went like that. I say "Where'd he go?" Hollywood says "Where'd WHO go?!"
