Is anyone else having the issue of dust showing up under the screen? I have already had one phone swapped and it is occurring again. It appears to be happening all around the world, so is it happening for anyone else? Mine started in the bottom right corner, and is progressively spreading, very off putting in a phone that is only two to three weeks old!!

Yes I have had the same problem.  My first phone had the issue and was replaced after 2 days and the second phone also has the same issue.  Is LG addressing it?

I have no idea, but I did fine the following http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-863045.html and it would seem it is not a problem with phones only in NZ.

I am going to send mine in to be fixed, they wont replace it because its out of its 14 day time frame. Very frustrating, as I have NEVER had an issue with dust under a screen before! If it recurs again after being looked at I will be asking for a refund! Then the problem is replacing it with another phone running at least froyo!!

Love the phone, hate the dust more than I love the phone!

Surely that would be a design flaw, so them switching it with another identical one will not make any difference. Not unless it is a faulty batch.  I wonder if they will have a recall if it is that widespread. Many people probably wouldn't notice or care. I had a walkman that had the same problem with dust getting under the buttons and appearing on the LCD.

It seems it is a design flaw, it began again within two three days of getting the second one. That's why I was hoping to see how widespread it was in nz, anyone else with a p500 with or without this problem?

Have had mine for about 10 days have noticed a couple of fibres/hairs under screen as well as a piece of lint or something about the size of a pixel. Looks like a dead pixel on light coloured backgrounds. Enough to get replaced perhaps?

I suspect you are right, but they will still need to deal with the people who wont put up with it and send them back!

I took my second one back tried a third about 10minutes later it had dust same place so shop getting new shipment and hopeful with that.  I really like the LG so curious when yours comes back fixed if the LG repair center resolves the problem?
