Just came across this at Cell Hut, wondering if anyone is interested?

I am certainly tempted as the price is exceptional, although I am waiting for the next iteration of the Galaxy S to be announced at MWC 2011.

Definitely has some nice specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_atrix-3709.php

The european version may not be "4g" however, unless it has HSPA+ which the US consider 4g.

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

At least it does "3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100" which will be a good thing for this part of the world..

Does this mean it will work on the Telecom network?

It will be HSPA+ which isn't really 4G, more like 3.75G, much like EGDE was considered 2.75G.

Not sure about the 3G bands, hopefully it will be like the iPhone 4 to support Quadband 3G, which means it can be used on all NZ networks. The site does actually also have the American version 850/2100/1900 for extra US$100....so who knows.

Yes and 2D and Voda.   Though looking at Motorola's  online demo and specs  I suspect it will be expensive.  $NZ1300 maybe when it arrives on a carrier here.??

I did see that and that's why I said not sure about the 3G bands because the following link on Cell Hut suggests there is an american version customised for AT&T , but sometimes these online stores can be wrong with specs etc.

That was what I thought too, but then there are rumours that the SGS 2 will be a dual core CPU whereas the Infuse is only a single core 1.2GHz Hummingbird.

gsm arena sometimes show all the 3G frequencies a phone will support without making a distinction between versions for specific geographies.

So...."3G 850/900/1700/2100" doesn't mean one phone will do all of them. It often means any given phone of that model will do some of them...and collectively they cover all of them.

Looks like a good phone. The only thing I don't like about the Infuse is it's only got a single core processor. I guess it is 1.2Ghz though. The Atrix is dual core.
