Hi guys, I'm nearly at the end of my leash trying to get a P500 working on vodafone,  I've set the APN settings up but it still won't start a data session.

works fine on 2D and wifi, I've used the APN off another working Galaxy 5 and the ones listed on this site.

I got it working with a PAYG sim card (STK 2.5.1) but  the postpaid card (STK2.5.0) doesn't go!

do I just need a newer sim?

I am using p500 on vodafone too, works fine.
Double check capital and lower case letters during apn set up, somehow it does make a difference.

Does data work on the postpay SIM in another handset? It will not be a SIM issue

I had a P500 and used it on Vodafone prepaid. Had no problems with calls or txt, could not seem to setup MMS. Couldn't find where to set this up. I tried the update which went iinto emergency mode and would not recover. The was sent back to the dealer and I got a refund. I liked the phone very much but not to sure if I should purchase another one. Is anyone using one on Vodafone with MMS and have no problems. There seems to be alot of issues with these phones.
