My HTC Desire HD had been bugging me for a while to update my NZ map when I opened the 'Locations' App.  So I did, but now when I open locations, instead of getting the nice map with roads, facilities, etc I get an outline of the North and South Island with 'Aotearoa' written in it and that's it.  To say I'm annoyed is an understatement as I use the offline maps quite often.  Anybody have any ideas why this has happened?  and, if I can recover the old map?

Edit:  Is it a scam to make me pay for maps?

Bloody editing time limit.
I just did a second reboot and the proper map is back. WTF! Add to that wasting 40 minutes (and 464Mb) downloading the aussie map then deleting it and I'm at a loss to know what is going on...
Anyone shed any light...
