Hi all I have been trying to update my vodafone sourced N1 to 2.3 for a while now....can't get it to happen. I have tried to update to 2.2.2 (FRG83G) as the manual update is FRI40-from-FRG83G. But every thing I try says "can't verify entire package" and aborts the install.

Do I need to unlock my bootloader to get these updates to work?

Is vodafone ever going to push the OTA update to 2.2.2 and 2.3.x, the latest build is 2.3.3

That's surprising since I didn't VF had a custom ROM or UI for the N1.

What is your current firmware? If it's 2.1 I think there's been a few before the latest firmware and you usually have to update them in sequence.

You could try here since it says the update is not release dependent

***NEW: Nexus One GRI40 FULL, no dependencies (tested and working from FRG33)***
