So now I have broken the Apple shackles I still have a bedside alarm clock that has the Apple dock on the top which now will not be used...so where are all the accessories designed for devices such as my X5 which have a micro USB on the bottom?

I cant even find a stand/dock to put the phone to charge it.

For things like docks, you'll probably have to import them. That's if anyone has even produced one as yet. Remember the X5 isn't sold in numbers anywhere close to an iPhone.

I wish micro USB host mode became standard in all devices, so one could plugin accessories from docks to keyboards etc.

Now that Android is dominating the Smartphone markets I think you will see more devices coming out with mUSB docks. I have a Sony DreamMachine alarm clock that has a USB that I use a cable on to charge my phone, but it is still not a dock as such. Mind you I dont need a dock just a charger.
