Hello everyone, first post from a relatively tech illiterate member here.  I have just got a little Acer netbook and it has the option of using Android as an alternative to Windows.   I was wondering if it was possible to use Android using a stick modem or will it only work with wifi?  (I guess this could be the case seeing as it is designed mostly for smartphones.)   Booting up Android and looking for networks it doesn't seem to recognise the modem (Vodafone.)   Are there any drivers to make it work?  Vodafone literature refers to Windows and Mac os only.

Thanks for any help and sorry if this has been discussed previously (search didn't throw up anything.)

Find out the manufacturers name / product name for the vodafone stick modem and search for that + android, that would be your best bet.
