Sorry if this is a super-n00b enquiry.

I've disabled auto sync on my HTC wildfire because it was chewing through a lot of data (which i thought was weird relative to other's consumption) and currently manually sync my phone if/when needed.

Is there anyway i can set an hourly (or periodic) auto sync? this doesn't need to be global, but refreshing my calendar and gmail would be handy.

I've had a look around in the phone settings, if it's there then i've missed it. A sync app/widget perhaps?

Thanks
Stu

You could try Tasker from the Market; it allows automation for pretty much everything. Costs about $9 though.

Looks like a 1-stop-shop for almost everything: will give it a go

Thanks :)
