I want to be able to simply view and use my Android on my PC screen.

Gmote and most of the others are the other way around, control the PC FROM the phone.

there are also lots of apps to send sms from your pc using your android phone (which is the only reason I can think of for wanting to access your phone via the pc), these can all be found on google search.

Couldnt get screencast to work at all.
After all the requirements of downloading Java SDK
Android SDK packages
Fiddling about moving files to hwere they need to be etc still wouldnt work...

Iphone, jailbreak, install Veency...works straight away can access full phone functionality from PC over WIFI!

I miss this.

I use apps where you type a lot of text and its a mile easier doing it from the keyboard on the PC.
