My understanding is the Droid 2 is a US Verizon phone made by Motorola (our equivalent is the milestone / milestone 2) which pretty much exactly the same except its not CDMA.
(Has a hardware keyboard)

The Incredible S is an HTC Phone with no keyboard.

I suspect where the confusion lies is that HTC also make a Droid Incredible 2 which is also a US Verizon only phone.

As far as i can tell the Incredible S is the worldwide version of the Droid Incredible 2
Much the same as the Motorola Droid and Milestone.

Right. So Droid Incredible 2 is the Verizon version and Incredible S is everywhere else?
