Does anyone know what the warranty situation is if you buy an NZ purchased Ideos from someone else whilst it is still in the warranty period?

Unless a warranty specifcally says it's transferrable you can assume it's not.

With most things if you have been given the receipt/proof of purchase you can still make warranty claims.
