Currently my wife's SGS1  is only using internal  storage for apps and music.  She wants to add a micro SD card for her music.

If she ads this card will the fone continue to install  new apps on the  internal storage or will it want to  put it on the external card as it does on by Galaxy 3 and do i need to format the card when it is installed??

Thanx in advance..

Regards,

It will default to installing to the internal (or more accurately the 1.8GB of the internal memory reserved for app installation that are otherwise unavailable to the user), some apps can be moved to the external.

No particular need to format, I usually do just because I feel better for it :)
