I'm looking to buy an eeePad transformer when available here next month but I don't want to wait for the 3G version at the end of the year.

Will a vodem work on 3.0/3.1 Honeycomb?

I have very little experience yet with Android so I have no idea what will work.

To be honest, I'm not sure 'cause you normally need to install the drivers etc for the device..

I'm at work and I think I have a spare vodem lying around so I'll give it a go on my Acer Iconia tablet and let you know!

Extremely unlikely to to work i would think. Great if it does though. I don't believe android will have the drivers let alone the software to initiate the connection.
Your best bet is a portable wifi hotspot - or even better an android phone with Wifi Tethering to complement the android tablet :p

No. Absolutely won't work.

eXDee has the idea, best bet is to tether it to a cellphone. That's what I do with my Galaxy Tab half the time despite the fact it's got a SIM in it.

I was just trying to use an item i already have, rather than waste it - especially when it will do the exact same job.

I'm sure some one will sort some drivers for it at some point soon-ish.

Ill just have to go for the hotspot t the moment.

Thanks
