I have an HTC Desire HD which on FRoyo had no issues with the mPass app which I love. However using it recently with GB and it doesn't want to connect to server. Says Unable to connect to server please try again later.
Have uninstalled and re installed it twice. Am running stock ROM with OTA update to 2.3.

Anyone else had this issue? It may not be GB related?

Still not working, it must be a GB issue, no useful advice from Air New Zealand IT dept. Tried re instaling various times but no luck.

Working fine on my Huawei IDEOS X5, which is apparently very similar in hardware to the Desire HD.
I know that doesn't help though.

As a last resort, have you tried a factory reset?

This problem was solved last night with the update to 2.3.3  software number  2.50.405.2, did it ota and it seemed to makes things a bit smoother, wifi connection is more consistent....AND YES MPASS IS NOW WORKING!!!! Just in the nick of time actually as i'm off to New York this week and flight times come in handy. Factory reset didn't work, guess it was just how GB and my phone interacted.

I must admit I didn't try mPass after the first GB update until I saw your OP.  I too have 2.50.405.2 (and mPass is okay) and while wifi appears fine, I am finding the GPS performance is much degraded.  It is very slow to find and lock satellites now. I would be interested to hear how it works on your trip to NY.

By the look of some forums I'm not the only one....

Disregard the above.  I contacted HTC support and they had me re-install 'Locations' and its associated maps and hey presto the GPS was operating as expected again.  Can't see how an App that uses the GPS can affect its performance when its not even operating but it seems to.  I wonder if there are any other Apps that may have been affected by the update?
