Hi, I will be off to Orlando, Florida for 3 weeks and will be taking my HTC Desire long....

Can anyone give me their experiences on

a) using  a pay as you go type sim card in the phone once I arrive there

b) buying a charger that would suit

I have already done some sniffing on the net and know that I wont get 3G internet but that is not really an issue for me ..I simply want to be able to text ..make local phone calls in Orlando and ring home a couple of times

I bought this phone from clove.co.uk a year ago ...its a stock standard 8181 phone(not rooted) and it has been a damn fine purchase
