Ok so I have an official Motorola Milestone from Telecom XT, I have now ported over to 2deg to use on a 900mhz/2100mhz rated phone.

Out of curiosity i have added the required apn settings for 2Deg on the Milestone and data internet etc seems to work ok.

The main question i have is will i simply loose all reception and data as soon as i get out of central Christchurch?? because i realise that 2deg/Vodafone use a different frenquency to Telecom XT .

Cheers in advance

No you'll just fall back to 2G. But it'll be ok in some places where theres 2100 (Rangiora)
