The wife inherited my old X5 which was great for a few weeks until the novelty wore off and she started having wifi/3G issues and forever reducing battery life. Well tonight I flashed it with MIUI 1.8.19 based on the general consensus on XDA that this was the most complete and stable rom for the X5

I have to say this rom is a fantastic effort and has effectively relifed the phone. Yes it is very iOS-ish but this really appeals to the wife as she loves her 4th gen itouch.....

This may have saved me having to buy her a ip4 :P

I am running Cyanogenmod 7 Gingerbread and have been quite impressed. There are a couple of minor issues but it is generally very stable. The Gingerbread Roms for the x5 have only just got there. Once native wifi is sorted the roms will be great.

My only problem with CM is that the Bluetooth gets assigned a different address instead of the hardware one in the phone. It plays havoc with my Bluetooth head in the car. Are there any Bluetooth issues with oxygen?
Cheers, Matt.
