Can someone confirm if the HTC Wildfire does not allow download of maps to be used as offline.

Bro got his Wildfire and has only gotten the maps via Wifi, he does not use 3G.  When I was playing around with a Sensation in a store, that allowed it.  So diff models?

Thanks.

On google maps? On my Transformer I just click and hold on a map, give it a couple of seconds and an option pops up to let you cache it offline.

If you're meaning in Google Maps you need to download the latest version and the addon.

It only lets you cache a small area, it's certainly no match for something like Ovi Maps on a Nokia.

I mean HTC Locations.  I tried the Sensation at the XT store and it had it.  You could select the country to download it ....
