Skype seems to have relaxed a little on aqllowing video onto non-whitelisted Android devices, so now I can Skype with my Asus Transformer .. ahh my parents will be so happy to chat with me while I sit on the loo I'm sure .....

Yeah, Skype has released a new Android version that has added a few more devices to be compatible on video calling.

How topical.

I was trying to do a Skype video call on my US Xoom and it wasn't working until I found a setting that said it was experimental and enabled it.


It worked pretty well going from my Xoom to a PC in the US going over Telecom's 3G network using a Netcomm 3G wireless card.
