Not bad, for the stats it's a reasonable price. Still a considerable mark-up on Amazon (excess of $200 once shipping and GST added) but this is NZ

fairbuy had defy+ listed briefly for $499 then removed. they have a cashback promotion which essentially make it free shipping. so that's basically a 50% markup or $250 over shipped-per-order, a bit excessive imho.

yet I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay $100 extra for essentially a stock 2.3 OS and 100 more mAh. if my treo dies today I'd just grab a defy.

btw warehouse selling huawei x5 for $349 in latest mailer

Considering they're launching it at $50 cheaper than Telecom's Defy pricing, its pretty decent tbh

Considering this is New Zealand where everything worth having is more expensive for no apparent reason.

Least it's only $200 markup, the Samsung Series 7 Slate is $1099 US off Amazon, RRP in NZ is $2400 according to the press release (which refers to the starting price). That's almost $800 markup once you consider shipping, currency exchange and GST
