Trying to help the boss update the android software on his phone as from what I can tell a froyo and gingerbread update has been released via Vodafone for his handset. He has never updated since he got it and is stuck on 2.1 (update 1).
Updated to the latest version of Kies on his Macbook, picks the phone up fine but says no firmware update avaliable for whatever reason. This phone was purchased via Vodafone so wasn't imported or anything like that so can't quite work out what the issue maybe? There definitely is an update for this model yeah?
Done a good hour of googling on this but nothing obvious pops up so last attempt with this forum post.
Any advice, would be greatly appreciated. Rooting it is not an option as it's a company phone
