Does anyone know if Carrier IQ software is on phones in NZ? From what I gather so far it's mainly US carriers that have installed. My phone's not rooted so I can't easily tell.

no one really knows but a lot of scaremongering around but wouldn't worry unless of course you are a terrorist or something ;).
If its there another few days won't matter and is probably harmless anyway but who knows but just let the knee jerk brigade with their tin foil hats get all excited and once the truth comes out we can just delete as required.
