One of ther easons I decided to buy a Nexus S for my daughter which has pretty much the same hardware but will getting ICS OTA.

Bugger.

Official 2.3.5 now being deployed as of Dec to S devices however. So I can expect mine to be ready late next year the rate virgin AU goes :)
