Hi Guys please help here is the situation ...

I have Mircosoft office 2003 on my desktop { win 7 } I have some documents that I would like to follow me around on my Samsung 10.1 Tablet running Android that has polaris office .

I have installed google cloud connect into MS office this allows me to upload The doc to google and sync to any device that can access google docs .... trouble is I cant get the built in office { polaris } on my android to download it/sync to google docs .... I know there are other apps for the tablet to try but I would prefer that polaris could sync to it so I can make changes and then upload the changed doc so when Im home using the desktop the updated version of the doc is there waiting for me .

any help would be great

Cheers
andrew

Have a read of the below article which mentions few apps that you can try to sync office documents with skydrive on web and on your android device.

http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_live/b/windowslive/archive/2012/02/07/connect-your-android-device-to-skydrive-with-onenote-and-other-apps.aspx

1. You upload your document to skydrive (free 25GB cloud storage) along with free office 2010 web app access to create new/edit documents via your internet browser.

2. Download the document off skydrive using one of the apps mentioned in the above link to your android device and open it with polaris office once the document is on your device.

3. Upload/sync the document back to skydrive once finished editing/creating using the selected skydrive for android app.

Do whatever you want to do man.

thanks for the info , I was hoping to not have to use a third party app .... the advantage with google connect cloud is that it takes the doc and turns it into a google doc and that plug in is part of office so very easy to use .I also prefer to use what comes with the tablet as the polaris software seems to do the job fine it just cant seem to sync to a cloud system now if there was a little plug in app that gave it that ability great ! I just cant seem to find anything , I also like the idea of keeping one cloud client { google } rather than having multiple clients and having to upload to a web address seems slower , But thanks again .
