It's not the best. But it's close.

I think the best will be shown of at MWC next week tbh.

720p 4.3"+ screen, dual core+ chipset, large battery but slim profile like the RAZR Maxx plus Ice Cream Sandwich is my ideal phone, and I won't be replacing my Incredible S until it happens.

It looks to be one of the best smartphones at the moment. I didn't buy a while back because battery life was too low.

Now I've decided a standard "feature" (aka dumb) phone is fine. I have a computer at work, a computer at home, and a tablet, I can't think what I'd need a smartphone for.

I love lots of things about the Maxx, but it's pentile screen with 'low' resolution (compared to several of it's contemporaries, and basically every upcoming handset), locked bootloader and Motorola software 'enhancements' mean it falls quite well short of the best I'm afraid.

At this point I'd just wait a few months for some of the MWC-announced handsets to arrive and then decide.
