Satch: Thanks everyone. I ended up pickup up the Belkin one from DSE. That should satisfy my needs.

I've had this Belkin one for a while now. It's pretty good. Use it to charge my phone and iPad off one plug (was very handy when travelling)

Has anyone found any good high powered USB chargers recently that are reasonably priced? I have a great one that came with my Asus Transformer tablet, but I'd like another as I'm thinking of getting a 10,000 mah power bank thingy.

Yes, the Belkin one as discussed in this thread. Would this not suit you?

Does anyone know if you can get a decent charger that you can snap on plugs for different countries? In the next couple of years probably be in Thailand, NZ, UK, maybe the US. Or should I just get a kiwi one and use adaptors?

What rating are you after? I can certainly get you a 1A USB charger with a pin plate set, but might be too little. I can also get 3A, but comes with wires at the end so you will have to solder a USB socket to it and short out the data pins (or something else for Apple devices).

Probably 2A with multiple outputs, as we'll have two phones, a tablet, and a WiFi thingy to charge. I may just buy the Belkin one and a Thailand adapter when we get there, sounds much easier. Thanks for the offer though :)

I got the Belkin charger, it works well for my phones. Unfortunately it doesn't charge my Asus TF101 Transformer tablet at all. Turns out the TF101 charger is 15V not 5V, though if you plug a standard phone into it it puts out 5V and can supply a high current.

So the idea of taking one charger on holiday is out. Either that or leave the tablet at home, which to be honest I only use for movies on the plane. The little S4 screen isn't bad, but might be a bit hard on the eyes for hours of movies. Plane movies don't tend to entertain me so I take my own.

I use the Belkin Dual USB wall charger listed here at work to charge multiple iPads at once (iPad 2 and iPad Mini). It works a treat.
