Sony has announced its entire VAIO notebook range will feature the new Windows 7 Operating System from its launch today. In addition, Sony is the first to offer the advanced 64bit edition of the operating system as standard on every model - except those using an Intel Atom processor.

To celebrate the launch of HP’s new range of Windows 7 notebooks and desktops that will be released 22nd October, HP will be auctioning an exclusive HP Pavilion dv7 notebook signed by a world famous number 7, Richie McCaw. Richie received one of the first units to be made available in NZ – and in fact, the world – signed the notebook and HP will be auctioning it off on TradeMe with all proceeds from the auction going to the Lifeline charity.
