I am signed up thanks, I can confirm my silverlight crashed in Chrome. No DNS Service used. Other than that, it worked well, watched an ep of vikings without trouble.

Why do I have to enter payment info? I shouldn't have to for a beta test.

Many thanks for the invite. All working fine on Vista, however Silverlight a no go on Linux. That is no surprise I know (why oh why Silverlight ?), but Microsoft redirected me to a mono page that has no content. May be worth checking.

If you are testing the whole service, why not? If something is broken there they need to know too.

Silverlight has a more standard DRM implementation. This was briefly touched in one of the first pages. The alternative is HTML5 I guess.

As has been mentioned earlier, the instant popup info on mouseover is very annoying.

agreed, it is too sensitive.

also, battlestar galactica is missing the mini series that precedes season 1. Makes the show very confusing to start watching if you haven't seen the mini series before S1E1

I think that's a licencing issue - I hit the same thing when I bought the box set, I couldn't buy the mini-series, so had to locate it by alternative means - they didn't want my money.

Quite happily streaming on the windows/chrome browser I signed with, but having issues logging in with the ipad....

Once I have my own login, shouldn't that be what's used for the popup security box at the light box site?

Or do I use the invite code and login to the browser later (somewhere?) with my own created login?

You always use the code to access the site.

It took me a little while before my login credentials were recognised on my iPad, so I wonder if there is some account synchronisation process happening. I initially thought there was a problem with my password created during my account creation (automatically created by 1Password & synched to my iPad), so I changed it to a simple one. But that made no difference. I mention it as well, just in case the password change process also triggered something that enabled the iPad authentication to work.

I broked something...  was signing up fine using my iPad until I had to enter my cc details and then that page hung and hung and never loaded. So tried via my mac and now none of the reset links work, get an error saying the token is no longer valid. I can't re sign up because my email address is already in use and I don't know if you guys have my cc details or not!

Just setup my account.  My default web browser Opera 12  keeps getting a message saying not supported and to upgrade.  Firefox Aurora won't login "401 Authorization Required" .  The only one is Chrome.  Picture a little soft and some programs  not up to date.  Guess  the local TV networks won't allow this until they get round to showing them..  Went to login with Chrome again to test on my Chromecast  and I can't .  Same 401 message.   Is there a timeout period before you can login again??

Regards,

Old3eyes

Ok found that you have to use the invite login.  Also Chromecast from the Chrome browser will not work.  Plays  on the PC but on the TV screen blank with no sound..

Guess I'll have to bring home my work laptop with an HDMI port..

So... Invite login takes me back to sign up page, no sign of a 'login' button to login as myself and authenticate?

Chrome on laptop saved password and works, was beginning to think I went must and mistyped the password originally?

Do I just wait for the iPad/iPhone to authenticate separately?
