sdavisnz: Last time I tried to watch a rugby game 20 mins after it it had finished, I could not find the game on the service for 8 hours.

Don’t look on demand. Look at the TV guide ( live). You will find all content from the past 24 hours.

sdavisnz: You are living in the past then.

I've had a 4k tv since 2014 mate.

That might be true but most sport content is not 4k.

As the NZ Football Leagues are now all on broadcast on Sky Sport I'm waching Womens Football on Sky Sport Next Youtube channel with Southern United vs Canterbury United Pride.

Big noticeable difference in frame rates compared to Sky Sport Now its crazy that its better quality than Sky Sport Now and its free!

Fell asleep on the couch during the rugby Sat night, so rolled back in the guide to the beginning of the overnight replay. Big mistake.

The first minute of the coverage was the end of of the aftermatch, so the first thing I saw was the score.

Clearly my fault, going to a beer festival the day of an ABs test, and  not bothering to roll all the way back to the live broadcast (so I didn't have to skip prematch / halftime)

Enjoyed the match anyway, but took a little something out of it.

Just finished watching state of origin. No issues with quality of freezing. I’ve had issues recently with the mitre 10 cup and the ABs in NZ. Now I’m wondering if that issue might be with Sky’s OSB.

Edit. Unlikely as I had issues with the NRL Final too.
State of origin was really good quality though. So I don’t know what might be going wrong so times.

Came here to post the same. SOO looked great and no pauses or issues at all. Was as close to perfect as you could get.

I also wonder why Mitre10 cup freezes so often when you would think there is less transfer issues? Anyways happy with last nights efforts from SSN, not happy with the result though

There was a rep from the SSN Team here.

I'm keen to know when the android TV app will get updated so I can rewind within games?

I'm using the spark sport app on the same Sony TV, and it's just a more complete app,ans much nicer to use

I can rewind, I can start a game live or from the beginning (which will be would be great with the live TV roll back on SSN)

No juddery footage either (which only happens to me sometimes on SSN)

Hey everyone - There is a deal going on Grab One at present - 6 months at $179. Not sure how it'll effect people who have a subscription active but mine runs out tomorrow and this one has to be used in December I think so its perfect for people like me who did the NRL package they offered a while back.

Anyone using SSN on apple tv? The app is supposed to have swipe up for channel select and it used to work but lately it wont do anything when swiping up. Is this an app issue? Anyone else find the same?

TIA

Ah - I thought it was something I was doing.  FWIW I tend to swipe down, then swipe up twice - that seems to kick it back into life.

Is anyone having buffering issues?

I’m watching Supercars and the quality keeps dropping. I’m on Apple TV with wired Ethernet on 2D 1Gbps fibre

Yup, thought it was just me.  Tried both Apple and Shield. 🤬
