Just had an email from lightbox saying that in 5 days they would begin charing my credit card on file for the next month. However I logged into my Lightbox page, and it show I have 2 discounts remaining (this was after the 1st ordeal where they hadn't added the additional 2 months ). Anyone else get the email saying that they would begin being charged in 5 days? I am sure they will put it right, like they did last time, but they they erode confidence in their billing systems

Yes, I had the same today. I will wait and see what happens,

Thanks, glad I am not the only one, I have reported it to them so will see how it goes :)

Add me to that list. I assume the account page is more correct than the warning email, but I took a screenshot just in case.

Received just now:
Hi Greg,

Thanks for getting in touch,

Big apologies from us for any confusion, there should still be discounts on your Lightbox account to cover you for the rest of summer :)

If you want to check out how many discounts you have left, please log into your Lightbox account using a PC/Mac or tablet in a browser and complete the following steps:

1. Find your name in the top right-hand corner, hover over it to bring down the menu and click ‘Settings.’
2. Enter your password to verify that you are allowed to change settings.
3. Go to the ‘Subscription’ sections of the Settings menu.
4. If you see 'Discount(s)' in the 'Current Subscription' column then each of these is equal to 30 days access without charge.
5. At your next renewal date, providing you have an allowance, a discount will be used

We will send out a correct email to you again 5 days before you are due to be charged, after all your discounts have been used :)

When the discounts run out it will be $12.99 per 30 days :)

If you have any further questions, just let us know.

I got that email too. However I also asked then for the date my credit is supposed to run out on. Obviously the 30 day billing cycle is also confusing for Lightbox, because they replied to say thy weren't able to calculate the date! Only that it would be sometime in April. WTH. They really need to sort out their billing so customers know the exact dates, especially as they are using such a weird 30 day billing cycle.

Just out of interest, how many of us are going to continue with LB after the 360? Me probably not as one thinks Suits is coming to an end.

Just checked my Lightbox subscription, and it looks like Spark is going to pay for my next ~10 years of Lightbox!  Wonder how long it will stay like this..?

That's cool, I pressume they are therefore bundling it with a spark broadband connection. Although wonder why they made it 120 cycles and not just 12, and then renew it again after that.

Wow if it's not an error. Wasn't expecting that.

I looked at mine a couple days ago and was showing charges start next month, checked now and it's 120 free months.

Guess find out in next few days if it's an error or not.

It's 120 billing cycles of 30 days, not 120 months. So although it looks like 10 years, it is more like 9 years something.

Yep. Still real happy if this is the case. Finally something bundled in with broadband that I'll actually use.

Wow, mine too. I have 120 free cycles remaining. Nice. Hope it stays like that. I've been a Spark broadband customer since the JetStart days, so it'd be nice to have this kind of perk attached to my connection.

Does the 120 months only apply to people who used a 12 month code in the past, or any new customer with Spark will also get it?
