eXDee: TV1 - HD from july

TV2 - HD from july

I'll believe that when I see it if their offering  via Freeview|HD is anything to go by..

HD implies that the TX format is HD, i.e., 720p in this case, not that the native format of the programs is HD. TVNZ have claimed for months that it could be another year before they have the ability or will to playout significant HD content.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Ah ok. You are talking about delivering significant hd content rather than the ability to deliver hd content via the sky platform...

Anyone know what transponder these will be on?

There's nothing visible on either of the two existing HD transponders at the moment.

If they're going live in June something should be up for testing soon...

Sorry, joined this thread quite late.  Please can someone elaborate on this:

eXDee: TV1 - HD from july

TV2 - HD from july

TV3 - HD where available (same as freeview)

Sky Movies 1 - Many are HD

Sky Movies Greats - Many are HD

Sky Sport 1 - Rugby is HD if in Aus or NZ, dont think SA sends a HD feed. Cricket is in HD. Not sure about others.

Sky Sport 2 - As above

posted at the start.  What's meant by the 'where available'  for TV3?  I would have thought location was irrelevant.

Edit 22/05 13:50  I should add, that despite the US flag shown in my 'profile' on the left, I am in NZ.  (Can someone tell me how to change, can't find it in profile options)

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Still no sign. Expect to see something from about 7 days before launch.

1) Where the program is provided to TV3 by the producer in HD they will screen in HD, if it is provided in HD, they can't so won't.

2) Ignore it, you can't change it, the IP lookup service that Geekzone uses gets out of date sometimes.
