I've had the same issue as the poster above with the $5 pass. Not my first time using Fanpass and I've had no major issues before (besides being geoblocked while definitely having a NZ IP). Tried three browsers and no change.

Last time I put in a ticket for the previously mentioned issue they never replied at all, so I'm certain they won't fix anything pre-game tonight. Shame.

Edit: Also I got the confirmation email but there is nothing listed under subscriptions. Tried paying again but it won't let me due to me having a current subscription!!

My folks are having the same problems with the $5 deal. This was the night they were going to trial it and potentially ditch SKY altogether. They are getting very frustrated at what I had told them was a faultless product.

Hi guys - FAN PASS team here. Glad you are enjoying the $5 Friday offer. We have also just launched on Samsung TVs 2013 and newer - the FAN PASS app should appear in the Samsung Smart TV Hub store.

Hi Lara.

Welcome to Geekzone.

Any news on a AppleTV app... there seems to be quite an interest in that.

Thanks

Kirk.

The crew are all over this, gutted that the release didn't run as smoothly as testing results had given us. Will be a big night for the team and we are all working through it.

Can you read the title of this thread?  This is not a 1.0 version.  Fanpass has been around for some time and it's not a case of cutting anyone any slack.

They send emails shots out advertising a $5 Friday deal, you pay for the Friday's sport an it simply doesn't work.  Payment received, no service delivered.  That's just not right.

I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for a refund for a product that you have not received. My parents have paid to watch the rugby tonight and have not been able to so far. Why should they have to fund a 1.0 release as you call it?

Fanpass has worked seamlessly for me in they past few months. There is obviously a hiccup here, there should be a refund.

Good luck fixing it up, nice to hear an update. Thank you.

Edit: I have to agree with JJNZ a refund or a free day-pass would be fair, the event I subscribed to watch is over and I won't be in NZ next Friday so...

I can read. I am also reasonable, are you? Yes, its a fail, but obviously, its not an expected issue.

I guess we have a different understanding of 1.0 and 2.0 as well as reasonable and unreasonable.  I think it's reasonable to request a refund when a service has been paid for and not delivered.

Nothing really unreasonable there in my book.

You cannot read. As I said, I dont have an issue with a refund, if there is an issue with service delivery, thats another issue. Nothing unreasonable with expecting a refund for a service not delivered.

OK - I can't read and you now agree with me, good.  Not much point in prolonging this as my grievance is with Sky and Fanpass, not you tdgeek.  Final post on this by me, feel free to have the last word if you need to (I'd no doubt struggle to comprehend it in any case).
