Works for me on Edge browser, but not on Chrome

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

Found out the resolution and frame rate on twitter 😀

HD 1080p 50fps except ESPN and ESPN2 which are 720p.

I am not sure if you are just confused somewhere along the line. I tried Sky Go as I mentioned and couldn't get any videos to play. They may have had a technical issue, but I wasn't that impressed to say the least.

Nope. I understand.  It has traditionally been fairly unreliable, so hopefully they update it at some point with something more fit for purpose.  But this is a Fanpass replacement not a Skygo replacement.

Hopefully this is falls under the "Watch this space, lots going on, none that i can comment on" that @tripp commented on earlier.

Edit: sorry I haven't had a STB or Skygo for a few months so I cannot test it for you to see if it is an account issue or something more generic.

I use Skygo regularly on desktop works fine. However on desktop it uses flash player, over the years Flash has become more and more un-supported and you have to jump through a few loopholes to get it to work correctly on in the likes of Chrome.

I dont think that is the issue. Before Spark came along they were under the pump losing subscribers

If you are into MotoGP or Golf, Spark is not relevant. If you are into the sports Spark has, Sky doesn't have them, so also not relevant. Its about getting those churned subscribers back. I imagine there are many who churned who had sport, but the cost was too high. SSN solves that in an excellent way. Fanpass was hobbled, SSN is full flavour and more

A couple of weeks ago I resubscribed to RugbyPass (and DNS4Me). I will be cancelling both after next weeks bledisloe game and will use SkySport Now after that, either on Monthly or weekly passes as I need them.

I'm pretty stoked they have finally brought this product to market at prices I am comfortable with.

I use Kayo now, and they have what I assume SSN is aspiring to. Live channels (which SSN have) and a raft of on demand sport including the ability to watch live sport either 'From the Start' or 'Join Live'.

It's an excellent service, and brilliantly priced at $25 a month, and they have pretty much sport you could imagine, the only obvious missing piece is the EPL which Optus Sport has at $14.99 a month or Free on various Optus Mobile/Broadband plans.

Which leads me to another point, i think it's pretty average Spark don't offer anything to subscribers except the RWC (which Kayo has), i spent around $250 a month with Spark but get nothing (other than Spotify from my mobile). Seems an area they could do better in...

I spend $100 a month with Spark and on top of my broadband, I also get Netflix and Lightbox. Perhaps you need to speak to Spark about your options?

Ah good point, forgot about them, i pay for Netflix as i want the 4K option, and who watches Lightbox?

Would be nice if they discounted Spark Sport in some way for those buying their other products, or gave you the option of either free Netflix or free SS etc...

I have the 4k option for netflix. Get it done through Spark and all you pay is the difference between the standard and 4k.

There is a lot I'd like to watch on lightbox but hardly ever get the time....

Agree on the options/discount point. In saying that it's a new product so it may come with time. At the moment they offer free netflix or free RWC, but that's obviously a short term thing.
