i'm having trouble trying to find a driver that will help install a 5pin usb cable for a mobile phone 'motorla RAZR V3'.  this will enable my brother to down load his photos from his phone to my computer.  this phone is fairly new... he lost the other one.  no, it didn't come with any discs to enable to download what was required.  i have bluetooth installed on this comp.. but i think that he has lost this... any help would be apprieciated.. even a point in the right direction... have googled mobile phone tools and they suggested a driver detector... but after down loading it wouldn't even work probably.... if this is not in the right forum please move... thankyou

Are the photos on a memory card or the phones own internal memory?

If it is on a memory card, then it should just work.

If it is on the phones internal memory, then you will probably need motorolas mobile phone software. Which you will have to pay for, unless your phone came with it?

probably on memory card... doesn't one need something (like on a lap top, for that to slot into)fthen it can go onto the comp... like i said the phone didn't come with the disc for the usb cable which he brought recently...  if this doesn't work might have to go with him next time to get the necessary software.. they seem to see him coming...in my opinion

If it is on a memory card, that has been put into the cellphone by your brother, then you should just need to insert the cable into both the PC and cellphone.

Make sure the cellphone is turned on, have a look through the menu's and see if there is a setting for the USB cable. Something along the lines of packet data/data transfer/usb data cable - try each one and see which works for you.
