Greetings all
I screwed up and allowed my cellphone (nokia 2280) to get egg in it. (dont ask...)
I took it to a friend and we opened it up, cleaned it out and it worked fine.
I sent it in for repair under warranty, as it was purchased last december, for the following issues: *Phone freezing *Not receiving text message alerts.
I got a piece of paper back: ...liquid damage, unauthorised opening. Can offer non warranty repair **ATTEMPT** for $120, losing contacts and data, or return phone unrepaired for $75,or keep phone in leiu. Suggestions? I dont have the money but be that as it may, it was not sent in for that reason anyway. Should i leave the phone and do nothing? Can i do anything?
Suggestions please, much appreciated. If all else fails i could go back to Vodafone...
Thanks
David
