I have been told by a reliable source that the N1 will be introduced on Vodafone sometime this month...

Why would they sell the N1 when they've skipped over so many other Android handsets?

I can neither confirm nor deny that we get on the sauce at the Viaduct Harbour ofice.

Or that we even HAVE a Viaduct Harbour office.

Or that I work for Vodafone.

Or that I have a Geekzone account.

Or that I'm a software construct.

Another one of these guys that joins just to leak some information. Meh!

Perhaps new members should have their posts approved until say post #20 before public release? This will save "clutter" .

? Excuse me for thinking members of a mobile forum might be interested. Thank god Damager is not a moderator on this site, no one would ever get to pass his 'Ultimate Geek' status (or even 20 posts!). I can see by all the other posts that it's only stimulating intellectual conversation here?

Ben: Why would they sell the N1 when they've skipped over so many other Android handsets?

Because Vodafone Group has an agreement with Google to sell the Nexus One and decided to skip the other devices anyway. From a marketing point of view is a great move - get on the Google brand, less boobies this time.

Paul will probably deny anything - he either doesn't know or are required to deny it. Remember how Google got all crazy on Vodafone with the Google logo painted over the body painted girls during the HTC Magic launch?

Oh I'm not denying anything. Well, nothing seriously anyway.

I'm neither CONFIRMING nor denying.

We'll launch it (if it exists) when we're good and ready, not when someone decides to say we're launching it.

Cheers

Paul
