Anyone else having problem with season passes on tv one. Girlfriend thought they have set up a season pass for winners and loser, and although it recorded last week, it didn't record this week. I noticed that there was no season pass setup, so I tried again, and although there was an option to setup a season pass, proceeding to the next screen it only gave me the option to record next weeks show. Future shows were not scheduled. I have noticed this before on some other TV progrmas before. Anyone else having this problem with season passes? I pressume it is a problem with the EPG at tivos headquarters.

i'm having problems with "3 News" on MCE with the EPG from the MHEG stream, but i looked at the raw feed for winners and losers and it looked.  Not sure how Tivo makes their entries.

We've been having the same problems at home. A wide range of shows and at different time slots. Quite irritating, but I haven't tried contacting anyone to resolve it yet. *added to list of stuff to do...*

Edit:
We've also tried changing priority and deleting and rescheduling the season passes but with no luck.

I don't think it actually gives the option to setup the season pass in the season pass section, only to record the individual program. It seems to be detecting each program as not being part of a season, similar to how a movie is listed.

Sorry, ours were done when first recording a show then selecting to make it a season pass. I can't remember what the exact menu path is.

Your explanation sounds right though. Wonder why that is happening?

I think it is not giving the option to setup a season pass on some programs. I have tried a few others and they do give the option to setup a season pass. So far it has only happened on TV one for me, so it could be just TV ones EPG, or just some programs.

I get the option, it just fails to work. We can often see the upcoming shows but have to manually select them. Makes the whole thing quite pointless.

I'd consider a full reset if it wasn't for the fact that we have a 1Tb expansion drive and it's mostly full (kids). Really don't want to lose everything.

I'll have to sit down with it and have a play soon. Need to narrow down what's happening so I can take it further.

Yes. It's definitely becoming a common occurrence on TV1. It happened throughout the recent series Threesome and I checked the new Closeup replacement "Seven Sharp" and found the same problem.

The only one I have noticed is Winners and Losers, same as OP. It is missing the menu item to create a season pass.

Maybe TiVo have implemented a 'good taste' filter?

Ditto on Threesome, I got the first episode and missed the rest of the season. Other things seem to record fine though.  Channel 4 is pretty reliable.

Did the same for threesome. Although I noticed with that one that the program description was wrong too, think it was for a movie.  Maybe ii is only affecting programs that my girlfriend likes to watch, which seem to be more female targeted ones on tv one. I don't watch TVNZ myself these days.

Looks like it :) Just hope it doesn't muck up on the other programs my GF likes to watch on tv 1, such as packed to the rafters and offspring

Hmm, does seem to be affecting those female target type programs, wonderif there is anything that can be read from that:)

Hybrids Tivo Dan did used to have a bit of a presence here , so wonder if they are monitoring this forum. Might have to give their support line a call if I find the time, as the tivo nz website doesn't list any problems.
