Is there a way to stop the tivo from loading live tv after being idle at the main screen?

I want it to just stay in the main screen or go into standby.

Or is that just how it behaves. Just coming from w7mc.

It appears not... I've asked this before and it seems it's just how it works.

Damn, not like w7mc.

The mrs keeps forgetting to turn the receiver off, so just as we goto bed you hear the tv in the lounge.

Get her a logitech harmony remote and hide all the other remotes. Much cheaper than a new missus.
