All the above provides an example of why Musk’s push for freedom of speech on Twitter is important. Has it occurred to people that their world view has been curated? It is extremely naive to believe that Murdoch is the only one who manipulates the news.
By the same token, when Twitter banned people, it was defended as being allowed because it is a private company. But now it is even more private an entity, able to set its own rules, but people are up in arms because the rules may be different?

I don’t think people should be afraid that Musk owns the echo chamber. I imagine he’ll just do a bit of panel-beating on it. The size of the sledgehammer might be the main variable.

But then GZ is the only social media I do, so what happens to Twitter is all pretty much irrelevant to me.
