You paid someone to install a dishwasher into an existing connection? It's as easy and connecting your washing machine up.....


you might find the installation was part of the delivery of the dishwasher as opposed to a seperate person to simply install the dishwasher.

Yes, they included installation and taking away the old dead machine as part of the delivery. Actually I had the same thing with my washing machine... But yes, both are very straightforward to install.

My solution was to buy one of those narrow sized dishwashers, which is not a great solution to be honest, but I didn't want to perform surgery on the kitchen. I'd be claiming insurance, though tell them who caused the problem and they'll likely recover the cost from the person who caused the problem. Or have the tradesman's firm fix the problem.


Indeed, I should get onto that!
