New and improved hobby space / indoor workshop:

This was the kitchen in a downstairs granny flat to our house. I forgot to take a proper before shot, but this will give you an idea of the full 1970s horror of mustard yellow floral formica walls, bright yellow benchtop, dark woodwork and slate grey lino:

Quite a lot of time, but only cost a few hundred dollars, and most of that was for the new beech fingerjointed countertops. And additional pegboard hooks and plier holders. Kitchen cabinetry was salvaged from a demolition and made to fit, new handles were on sale, paint and lino was leftovers from other things.
