I'm not using the scale on the side, I'm using the hover numbers, so they don't need to be doubled.
My understanding is it's summed over a half hour. So power used between 5.00 and 5.30 should be logged as 5.30. It's not, it's logging it as 6.00.
It's not estimated data. It reflects our usage patterns too well to be estimated. I will watch it over the next couple of days of course.
Does anyone else have a well controlled load they can compare with the usage graph?
Yes, I'm getting this issue too. My usage readings are off by 1/2 hour, and it's been like this ever since I joined Electric Kiwi.
I didn't get this problem with my previous retailer, Flick Electric.
Here I'm turning on my heater and taking a hot shower at just after 8:30am:
But the usage doesn't register until 1/2 hour later:
Because of this peculiarity, I can start using my "premature" Hour of Power a half-hour before the peak period ends at 9am, but update the HoP on the EK website to 9am-10am (where the usage is registered under the 9:30am and 10am data points).
