You sir, are the perfect candidate to be consuming this content!
I'm dreading the whole, day before RWC, everyone running around like headless chickens realizing that their little 2.4ghz connection from their old modem wont support this too well.

Is there a full list of the sports Spark will offer? Will they be offering PSA Squash, if so, then I see myself becoming a long term customer, if not, then I'll subscribe on a per event basis I think.
The offering in Australia looks compelling I must say. It has a huge number of sports on offer. If I could only find someone with an Aussie mobile number to activate.
You probably already know but Sky just advertised a few minutes ago, PSA coverage, just an FYI in case you weren't aware
I bought a ChromeCast Ultra, because Airplay wasn't mentioned, its now mentioned.... :-( However, I don't like Airplay, despite 5Ghz, 4 metres to router, it isnt great. CC is awesome, its like playing off a disk

Chromecast for it's usability problems, is a better experience than Airplay. The only advantage airplay gives is that you can pause, rw, ff etc with the remote while air playing.

Yes, I've only played with the CC on golf lessons on Youtube. Seemed a little fiddly, that was a couple of weeks ago, but it seemed ok, Airplay gives me the impression there are missing frames, so with motion it has the DVD panning jerkyness, but not as bad as DVD. CCU was pretty much flawless, video quality wise
I'm just about to buy an Nvidia Shield TV - based on the launch options (From launch, it will be available via popular web browsers, Apple iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, Google Chromecast and selected Samsung TVs), what would be the best way to watch content on the Shield?
Open a browser on the Shield and watch that way?

I thought I saw someone saying that the shield wasn't being supported at launch?
Are you talking the native android app, will that work ok? Big ups if it does.
I am overjoyed that it seems I may have fibre just inside the timeframe for the RWC.

I never indicated it's the supported usecase, i can't speak for that to be clear...
Shield under the hood is an android device though, so it could be sideloaded worst case..
'native' was a tad misleading I've updated.

All good. I guess within moments of the app being available someone will be testing it on the shield.
I have a Chinese Android TV media box, that i'll probably side load the app on to.
However, the cast functionality of something like TVNZ works well.

Yet another CC Ultra customer here. Ready and counting ... it's only a few days to Melbourne Spark! Que pasa?
Something I've not seen/found explicitly stated ... will Spark Sport be on demand? Have no interest in watching Formula 1 ilive n the middle of the night.
never fear, smith is here

It does, its been mentioned earlier here
Live, OD, and the best things is if you watch it live, you can pause and rewind back to the start, same if you join in live after missing the start, you can rewind back.
