Benoire: See this is the disappointing aspects. The qaulity of the stream seems to be dependant on the device used. At the moment I have a Samsung tablet and the quality is not great, it can't be sent to my TV. They should be producing device agnostic content at the same quality and not allow other devices to produce better quality streams, I should not be forced to purchase devices to make the stream better.
I do wonder if the flash use is degrading the quality somewhat, I've noticed that with Flash DRM streams that they are not as clean as the original TS files.

vkjc: still waiting for a reply on my question from when I rang the csm ho in auckland.
seems like mixed results on the apple app too. will be interesting to see
the comversation post the live games on weekend.
I have already spent enough cash on this so I will wait for you guys to post yr
findings.

dwl: I would hope that the Apple TV was only being limited by the network bandwidth in the house and there is a warning - it might stream fine to the iPad but once you hand that stream to the Apple TV I thought it then needs to draw it direct so that connection to your router from the TV location could be an issue..

I watched about 10 min on my iPhone yesterday and used up around 300MB.
Benoire: Unless you either have very deep pockets, or a very generous company (very generous star blazer!) I'd rule out trying to watch a stream on a mobile device not connected to an 'unlimited' wi-fi; Even the Uk with its 'unlimited' this and that doesn't allow you to watch on demand tv on 3G/4G as they break fair use policies.
