Well that guy isn't gone..

and one of the other two is still around.

Then the last guy depends kind of if the mirror universe is an alternate reality.. Also remember that love conquers all in most tv universes. Could be right on the last one tho.

There was speculation on the fan sights over recent weeks, once the nature of the other universe was revealed............and it made sense once my brain was exposed to the idea.....and so it proved to be.

The nature of the other universe wasn't known until long after that.

1. The "Mirror Universe" was introduced in the Original Series in an episode originally broadcast in October 1967.

2. There has been information given out by the makers of Star Trek Discovery when they were still in the process of making the first series that the Mirror Universe would feature in Series 1 of Discovery..

3. I don't mind reading spoilers.

I am a trekkie fan from right back at teh original series, I have tried Discovery twice now and given up, maybe I should try again.

How far did you get before giving up? The first few (up to about #5) I found were a bit "Klingon Heavy", and those scenes did drag it down a bit, I feel - just a little too slow, and not pleasant to listen to - I don't mind the use of the language with subtitles as such, but it's fairly harsh on the ears...

Also, the early episodes spend a lot of time building a foundation, which isn't the most fun thing; but the later ones really do rely on that quite a bit - but they are much faster moving, and much more fun to watch. Overall, the second half-season episodes have been much better than the first.
