Having a go with a US account. It is seriously good looking - I think the picture quality is better than Netflix and on par with some very high quality plex files. With a five year old and a seven year old it's pretty good value for a year.

Keep checking PSN and the Playstore hoping the app might drop early like they did last week. No sign of it yet. If I've worked it out right based on the countdown service should go live around 5am tomorrow.

Breached or just users using the same email address and passwords as already breached services?

However it does look like there is no way to log out of devices already logged in...

oh yes, it looks like its from already breached services and they've used the same un/pw

Some users reporting unique passwords but i'll take that with a grain of salt

I’ve just successfully signed up to the free trial via Xbox One app. NZ subscription, no vpn. There’s only very limited content available at the moment, maybe a bit more than a dozen movies (Aladdin, Sword in the Stone, Pete’s Dragon, Lady and the Tramp 2) as well as a few placeholders for titles like Thor Ragnarok, POTC 5 and The Last Jedi, all of which give a “coming soon” vibe with release dates for 2020 given. There’s also a tiny smattering of series content like That’s So Raven and Evermoor.

Presumably the remainder of the launch content will be coming online tomorrow.

OK so as at 9pm on the eve of launch day, there’s A LOT more content now available - 550+ movies and 150+ series. Don’t know if this is the complete launch offering yet, but only Toy Story 2 is currently available from the full library of four, which would seem to indicate that there’s more to come.

The interface is lovely too at first browse, although it’s gonna take an aaaage to flick through everything... streaming seems clean, crisp and high quality so far as well. Thumbs up so far.

Yep a lot more is available now, upon accessing the US library there are some differences I’ve noticed so far - the simpsons has 29 seasons in NZ vs 30 in the US, National Treasure movie is available in NZ while it isn’t in the US until April next year. Great to see that it appears it will have the date series/movies are available to stream on Disney+

Around 10 hours to go and still no sign of application.

At 11am everything is going to get hammered. Looks like applic not coming until the 11th hour -I looked at LG and Apple TV.

I read Simpson’s is wrong aspect ratio and earlier seasons have top and bottom of picture chopped off to fit wide screen, not going to be fixed until sometime in 2020.

6:25am - checked the Play store and Disney+ app was there. Allowed me to sign up for a 7 day trial. I also selected the yearly payment option of $99.99.

Edit: website is live too.
