This was on ALL devices and methods?
PC on work connection, as well as my phone on 4G in the middle of Newmarket.

It came back perfectly in 1080p after the initial 2/3rds of the squads names had been read out, but it was absolutely horrible up to that point. Just prior to the video coming back, the audio seemed to drop off for 5 seconds or so, and was back once the picture was back to expected quality.

Had that too.
The sound issue seems like a director issue or mic issue at the event.
You guys use an app and had the issue? PC, yes that's browser, I'd avoid browsers, but the 4G phone was via the app?

As for the SMS, here is what I got from Spark:
I see you are wondering on Twitter about the text you received about the All Blacks team announcement. Spark Sport sent this text to Tournament Pass holders, Spark Sport monthly subscribers and those who pre-registered interest in Spark Sport, as each of these groups is likely to be interested in watching the team announcement.
Each of these groups was asked to supply a mobile number when registering/ signing up – and all signed up to terms that said we could send them marketing material using the communication methods provided.

I watched on Browser (Chome and Firefox) and I am on a Gigabit connection. I got multiple picture quality drops, and a pretty bad sound issue around 3/4 of the way through. Grim in my view. It should work flawlessly on a browser as it's a supported platform.
Did anyone seen it on live tv (Was it on TV?) and did they experience any issues?

Being supported doesn't mean its always perfect. It should mean that if the feed was sound, the playback will be. Although while thats easy for an app, a browser is linked to so much else on your $6000 laptop or $199 laptop. However there was clearly an issue, I wonder who recorded it? And if it went the same transport as a sports feed?

I saw it on the One News midday broadcast via the Sky box at work. Crystal clear picture, no audio issues.
event2: While we all know the 30 fps isn't ideal, I found it perfect the whole time watching via Bowser. Couple of issues with sound but I say that was a production hickup.
That's dead right - but it's all about the type of content right? Watching a press conference in 30fps is fine. It's the quick movement & panning that is not good.
