kharris: All working fantastically on my ATV4k. Also looks fantastic on my iPad. I have a Panasonic 4k TV and the app works fine but the Apple TV seems sharper. Have always used streaming devices over smart tv apps. I’m not sure that smart TVs are that powerful or smart.

Depends on the app. For me tv so always better but I don't have an apple tv, maybe apps are easier to make good on apple?
Might depend on the TV. Sonys are often stated here to be weak CPU wise.

Regular TV is quite simple. You need an aerial or a dish, and that is it, end of story. Streaming will never be like that. Tv brands everywhere, updated annually, using different OS's, even if its the same OS, its not quite the same. SO many variables. Best to get a industry standard STB, use that for the smarts. My ATV4 is great, has all the NZ apps, all of them. And the Android equivalents that are able to be app created without much fuss, and avoid device dependence.
hio77: For support I recommend official channels. Chat and the phone (spark sport one)
There is extra resources on hand for it.

They aren’t even answering the phone bro. Had a customer report they had been on hold for over an hour.

wratterus: Boy the comments on Spark Sport's Facebook posts are just punishing. Feel sorry for their support crew. Pretty sure half the comments are from people who haven't even bought the pass and are just bagging Spark. Then there are the 15 or so percent who think paying to watch rugby is wrong and it should be government funded. Umm.... So how have you been watching it the last 15 or so years? Then there are the people that seemingly didn't know Sky weren't showing the RWC and are blaming Spark for 'taking this away from them'. I saw one person blaming them for him losing the quality time he used to spend with his elderly father and how now the rugby is not on sky he can't possibly watch it anywhere.....? Just a thought, I heard this 'Spark Sport' thingo has the rugby on it. You know, the same crowd running the Facebook page that you're currently posting on? Oh my f......
Then the maybe sub 5 percent who are actually having a problem and think that posting on the Facebook page is the best way to get support.... Out of that lot I'd love to know how many people actually tested things before the live events started.
richardgnz: The comments are awesome :)

I heard a rumour that a dedicated bunch of fans plan to flood Spark Sport with tech complaints, in effort to get the game pushed onto Duke
Hmmm?
